As part of move to ensure a friendly worship environment for effective evangelism, the Kingdom Wisdom and Power Ministries, Seni Area, Adegbayi, Ibadan,Oyo State, has inaugurated its new auditorium.
The event formed part of the programmes marking the end of the church’s 2026 Annual convention, which commenced on Monday, 6th of April, 2026.
Speaking at the auditorium, the Minister-in-Charge, Bishop Sunday Okunola, urged Christians to avoid attitudes and behaviour capable of hindering their personal growth and spiritual development.
Delivering his sermon titled “Enemies of Excellence,” Bishop Okunola noted that many individuals experience stagnation due to overreliance on external validation rather than focusing on purposeful, spiritual and self-improvement.
The cleric further encouraged believers to cultivate a positive mindset, uphold the truth, and demonstrate godly character as essential steps toward achieving excellence as well as gaining divine favour.
Cutting the inauguration tape, the Special Guest on the occasion who is the Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Honourable Wasilat Adegoke, represented by her Personal Assistant, Mr. Benjamin Adekunle, advised the congregation to always support the leadership with prayers to lead aright.
Hon. Adegoke also prayed for the continued growth of the church and its commitment to spreading the gospel.
Highlights of the event included song ministrations by Mrs. Yemi David of Multiple Praise Grace band, cutting of the tape for the inauguration of the new church auditorium and Special prayers for the church, Oyo state and peace in Nigeria ahead of the 2027 General Election and redemption in the face of current socio – economic challenges.
Present at the event were wife of Pastor in charge of the Church, Rev Esther Okunola, Senior Pastor, The Savior’s Way, Rev Isaac Oyedeji and the church’s Laison Officer, Rev Ayorinde Idowu.
