Ede Elders Council Condoles Jonathan Adeleke’s Family

The Ede Elders Council, also known as Igbimo Agbaagba Omo Ilu Ede, has officially announced the transition of one of its prominent leaders, Chief Jonathan Adebunmi Adeleke, who served as a Deputy Chairman of the Council.

In a statement issued by the Council’s and signed by its Secretary, Alhaji Moshood Adeniyi and Publicity Director, Chief Ayodele Adeyemo, the group expressed shock while celebrating the impactful life of the late educationist, patriot and community leader.

The late Chief Adeleke was recognized as a cornerstone of the Ede community, noted for his tireless dedication to educational advancement and local transformation of the ancient town.

“Chief J.A. Adeleke was one of the core patriots who worked hard for the progress of education in Ede,” the statement noted, describing his passing as a “glorious transition” after a life of service to community and humanity.

EEC also paid tribute to the deceased Education Administrator, describing him as a father figure and mentor to many through his dedicated nurturing of generations of citizens who are now excelling in various fields of human endeavors across the world.

The Council extended its heartfelt condolences to his wife,
Mama Deborah Adeleke,
the children,grandchildren, and the extended Oluobinu Dynasty, not forgetting the Timi of Ede, Oba Munirudeen Lawal, Laminisa I.

The group prayed for the repose of the late Chief Jonathan Adebunmi Adeleke’s soul and fortitude for the family, friends, his students and the entire people of Edeland to bear the irreparable loss of the doyen of Education and administrator per excellent.
