Two of the victims abducted by suspected kidnappers in Orire local government area of Oyo State on Friday have appeared in distressing videos released by their captors, passionately appealing for urgent help and rescue.
The videos, which surfaced online, showed the victims in an emotional condition as they pleaded with government authorities, security agencies and members of the public to intervene and secure their freedom and that of other kidnap victims including students.
The incident has heightened fear among residents, while security operatives have reportedly intensified efforts to track down the abductors and rescue the victims unharmed.
