These were Highest Goal Scorer Award, as he improved from 19 goals last season to 21 goals this season, Players’ Player Award and Coaches’ Player Award
From Ibadan to the UK
Usman’s journey shows what progressive development looks like. He balanced football growth with education, staying dedicated to training and match performance all season.
National Recognition
Oyelade was invited to the Nigeria U21 squad for the 2025 World Cup in Chile. At just over 17 at the time, the coaching staff saw him as a long-term prospect for Nigerian football.
He turned 18 last February and celebrated it during a 1-week assessment with Lorret De Mar in Spain before returning to his club.
He is a product of Femben Sports Academy of Nigeria run by Coach Femi Olatunji.
