Barrister Akeem Agbaje Felicitates Muslims on Eid el Kabir, Urges Celebration in Moderation

A foremost Legal Practitioner and Politician in Oyo State, Barrister Akeem Agbaje, has felicitated Muslims in Ibadan, Oyo state and Nigeria at large.

The Eid el Kabir goodwill message is contained in a statement released by his media unit in Ibadan.

Barrister Agbaje also thanked Allah for the grace given to some of the muslim faithful to perform this year’s Haji pilgrimage despite the ongoing socio-economic reconstruction by the present administration.

The statement reads: “We cannot pretend that the cost of living has soared upwards and thus, affecting some aspects of our daily lives including religious obligations.“However I give glory to Almighty Allah for his provisions and protection that have sustained us and given us renewed hope. I believe in His time to time intervention to guide our leaders in the daunting tasks of nation-building.

“I appeal to all muslim faithful to celebrate the Sallah within their means and moderation in tune with Allah’s injunction and his prophetic guidelines,” Barrister Agbaje stated.

The legal icon who is also a power sector investment analyst however admitted that the nation was indeed in a trying time where faith and reliance on Allah should not be compromised.

He then enjoined muslims to pray for Allah’s sustained intervention to recreate a truly sovereign nation built on trust and promise fulfilment regardless of cultural orientations, tongue differences and religious affiliation.
