Ansar-Ud-Deen Urges Govt. to Address Inflation

The Ansar-Ud-Deen Society Oyo State Council has called on the government to implement measures to provide relief to Nigerians and mitigate the impact of rising costs of living.

The call was made in a communique issued at the end of the society’s 13th Triennial Congress in Ogbomoso.

The communique expressed concern over the high rate of inflation in the country, which has led to increased costs of living and associated social vices and crime rates.

The society urged the government to take immediate action to address the issue, which is affecting the livelihoods of many Nigerians.

“We urge the government to implement measures that will provide relief to citizens and mitigate the impact of rising costs of living.”

The society called on Islamic societies and organizations to establish Zakat and Sadaka foundations, as well as Islamic Cooperatives, to enhance the economic and social well-being of the Ummah.

The communique also emphasized the importance of unwavering support from all branches towards the State and National Councils, in order to advance the society’s objectives.

Furthermore, the society commiserated with the families of children who lost their lives in the recent stampede incident in Ibadan, and prayed for their souls.

The congress concluded by urging all members of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society to unite in pursuing these resolutions and striving for the betterment of their community.
