A veteran broadcaster, Mr. Adedamola Tinubu, says nurturing one’s voice is the hallmark and identity of every successful broadcaster.
Mr Tinubu made this known while featuring on Pensioners’ FM programme, “Grey Hair” which profiles the past lives of the elderly.
The veteran broadcaster, who is also a public speaker and diction coach, urged broadcasters to pay attention to their voice in terms of volume, tone, articulation and speed for optimal performance.
He also said good diction, proper use of tenses and pronunciation of names of people and places irrespective of language were crucial for broadcasters and aspiring public speakers.
Mr. Tinubu encouraged media professionals to strive for excellence in their craft, urging them to consistently aim to be the best in their field.
