TikTok Star Peller Crashes Car during Livestream

Popular Nigerian content creator Habeeb Hamzat, better known as Peller, has been hospitalised after crashing his vehicle during a livestream on the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos, raising concerns about the safety of live content creation practices among digital influencers.

The incident occurred on Sunday evening when Peller was broadcasting live on Instagram in a video titled “RIP Peller”, a clip that quickly circulated on social media and drew widespread public attention.

In the video, the 20-year-old influencer was seen visibly distressed and emotional, speaking on what appeared to be a phone call with his girlfriend, identified by some internet users as Jarvis.

During the livestream, Peller was heard expressing fear and emotional turmoil, at one point saying, “I’m scared. I’m scared.”

He also made disturbing remarks about crashing his vehicle. Moments later, he steered his newly acquired Mercedes-Benz into a stone barrier, causing a crash that left the car badly damaged.

Another clip from the scene shows well-wishers assisting Peller and later rushing him to a nearby hospital.

The extent of his injuries has not yet been confirmed by authorities or his representatives.
