The festive spirit is alive in Shobande Community, Akobo, Ibadan, as residents of Shobande Zone A prepare for their 2025 Christmas End-of-the-Year Party, promising an afternoon filled with music, laughter, and togetherness.
Scheduled for Sunday, 21st December, 2025 starting at 3 ‘o’ clock in the afternoon, the event is expected to draw people from neighbouring communities.
The celebration will be graced by an Oyo State governorship aspirant in the 2027 elections, Oloye Agba Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, who will be the Father of the Day, while renowned eye specialist, Dr. Kehinde Oluleye is the Mother of the Day.
Residents are promised entertainment and excitement for all ages.
Aboyade Melody Singer and his Band will deliver live performances, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere. Children will enjoy a dedicated Children’s Corner, face painting, and games, ensuring that the festive spirit resonates across generations.
