NASFAT Hails Olaniyan’s Emergence as Professor of Law

The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), the pace setting Islamic organization with over 360 locations worldwide, has expressed immense joy and pride at the elevation of a legal luminary, Kazeem Olajide Olaniyan to the distinguished rank of Professor of Law.

Born in Ede, Osun State, Professor Olaniyan is a respected academic in the Department of Public and International Law, University of Ibadan, and currently serves as Dean, College of Law, Fountain University, Osogbo (2025).

His appointment, according to NASFAT, is a celebration of brilliance, dedication, and integrity, which are hallmarks of his exceptional career and service to humanity.

The National Public Relations Secretary of Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih, Alhaji Shamsideen Owolabi Oseni in a statement described him as a scholar of uncommon distinction, who holds four degrees from the University of Ibadan, including a Ph.D. in Law, LL.M., LL.B. (Hons), and a B.A. in Philosophy.

He is also a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, and a Fellow of several notable bodies including the Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria (MULAN) and the Islam and Liberty Network (FILN).

He has lectured at multiple institutions, supervised dozens of postgraduate theses, and contributed significantly to jurisprudence, criminology, human rights, and Islamic legal scholarship.

Within NASFAT, Professor Olaniyan has a legacy of committed leadership, having served as Chairman of the Iwo Road Branch and later as Chairman of Oyo Zone 1. His selfless service and community engagement extend beyond academia, as he also chairs the Akinyele Muslim Community Board of Trustees and contributes actively to interfaith dialogue and educational reform across Nigeria.

Congratulating him, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, President of NASFAT, described the appointment as a divine elevation and a reflection of NASFAT’s investment in intellectual and spiritual excellence.

In the same spirit, Imam Maroofdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, Chief Missioner of NASFAT, prayed for continued divine guidance, urging the new professor to remain a model of humility, knowledge, and faith.

NASFAT reaffirmed its pride in Professor Olaniyan’s remarkable achievements, describing him as an inspiration to the global Muslim community and a living testament to the Society’s mission of promoting education, moral rectitude, and service to humanity.
