Pensioners in Oyo State have collectively funded the purchase of a white horse and presented it to Governor Seyi Makinde as a mark of their gratitude and solidarity.
The retirees praised the governor as a true son of the soil and a steadfast champion of pensioners’ welfare.
The presentation, made by delegates representing pensioners from across the state, was intended to honour Governor Makinde’s people-centered governance, especially his consistent dedication to the timely payment of pensions and gratuities, as well as his efforts to uphold the dignity of retirees since taking office.

In a striking display of loyalty, the pensioners pledged their unwavering support for Governor Makinde, vowing to stand with him in the future, including the 2027 elections.
They described the gift not merely as a present, but as a powerful symbol of their gratitude, trust, and confidence in Governor Makinde’s vision for Oyo State and Nigeria.
