Renowned cleric, Reverend Gbade Ogunlana has called for the incorporation of a legal framework into relationships to foster stability, commitment, and longevity in unions.
Reverend Ogunlana who is among the speakers, at the Home Front Marriage Seminar and celebration of 150 episodes of the Homefront radio series, held in Ibadan, pointed out that the high rate of relationship breakdowns, particularly in marriages, often stems from lack of clearly defined agreements and responsibilities between partners.
Speaking on the role of intimacy in marital relationships, a Consultant Radiologist from the Department of Radiology at the University College, Ibadan, Dr. Oluwatomi Oni, emphasized the importance of intimacy for a healthy marriage, while a financial expert, Mrs. Olubisi Jayeola encouraged wives to actively contribute to the financial wellbeing of their households and support their husbands in creating financial stability.
In a welcome address, the convener of the Seminar, Barrister Folusho Olapo, explained the primary goal of the seminar to include educate couples on the legal aspects of relationships and marriages to ensure a stable home.
