One of the pioneer news and current affairs analysts on Pensioners’ FM, Prince Adeolu Adeyẹfa is dead.
Late Prince Adeyefa who is also a former Editor of the defunct Iroyin Yoruba, a publication of the African Newspapers of Nigeria Plc and a Prince of Ọdẹomu in Ọṣun State bade the world farewell on Friday, March 7, 2025 at the age of 66.
Meanwhile his remains have since been committed to mother earth on Saturday, March 8th, 2025 after a Christian Service at his residence, Baba Alago Area, Odejayi Community, Apete, Ibadan, Oyo State.
According to one of the children of the deceased, Prince Dapo Adeyẹfa, his father, popularly known Olootu, died during a brief illness.
In the meantime, the board, management and staff of Pensioners’ FM have described the death of the station’s foremost Analyst, Prince Adeyefa as a big loss to the media industry.
This is contained in a statement by the General Manager, Dr. Babatunde Tiamiyu.
The statement described Prince Adeyefa as a thorough bred journalist uniquely gifted in the use of words, proverbs and witty sayings to drive home his points.
The station prayed God to give the immediate family, colleagues and friends of the departed erudite journalist,the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The late Prince Adeolu Adeyefa was part of the pioneer News and Current Affairs Analysts that joined the station upon its commencement of full broadcasting on September 27,2019.
