The numerous challenges confronting Nigeria will become history if the country’s leaders can desist from greed, selfishness and dishonesty.
The Chief Imam of Airport Muslim Community, Alakia, Ibadan, Sheik Hadi Bello, said this shortly after the two Rakat prayer marking the Eid – el – Kabir at the prayer ground of the Community.
Sheik Bello who urged those in positions of authority to be more alive to their responsibility of making life more abundant for Nigerians, warned against playing unnecessary politics with people’s welfare.
On his part, chairman, Ibadan Airport Muslim community, Alhaji Wale Azeez while thanking Allah for the opportunity to witness another Eid celebration, called on the Muslim faithful to always embrace the virtues of uprightness, faithfulness and charity.


Also, the Amir, Alabidun Muslim Community, New Airport, Alakia, Ibadan, Alhaji AbdulRahaman Yusuff – Ojasope, commended the Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde for the ongoing upgrading of the Ibadan Airport to international status.
Alhaji Yussuf – Ojasope described the gesture as promise keeping which is one of the key lessons that brought about Eid – el – Kabir festival.
Among the worshippers at the Eid prayer included chairman, Alabidun zone 3 Landlords and Landladies Association, Mr. Kareem Rafiu, one of the Public Affairs Analyst with Pensioners FM, Prince Oyesina Oyelakin and General Manager, Pensioners FM, Dr. Babatunde Tiamiyu.
