Eid-el-kabir: Agbaje Rejoices with Muslims

An Ibadan based Legal Practitioner and All Progressives Congress, APC chieftain in Oyo State, Barrister Akeem Agbaje, has congratulated Muslim faithful and called for sober reflection as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-kabir.

Barrister Agbaje in a statement by his media unit in Ibadan said the festival was one of the major act of worship of the Islamic faith and a period of spiritual sober reflection as well as commitment to Islamic values, especially act of keeping one’s promises.

“I am using this medium to congratulate and celebrate my Muslim brothers and sisters in Oyo State and Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid el Kabir, while charging each and everyone to keep the hope of a better Oyo State and Nigeria alive.”

“I want to encourage all leaders and the led to always prioritise the act of promise keeping as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim in order to enjoy Allah’s mercy individually and collectively.”

Barrister Agbaje called for moderation in the celebrations, urging Muslims to be mindful of the current economic realities facing many families across the country.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, Governorship Aspirant in Oyo State called for empathy and kindness towards the less privileged and vulnerable as the spirit of Eid al-Adha reminds us of the importance of sacrifice, charity, and our collective responsibility to one another as true Muslims.

While calling for moderation in the celebration, Barrister Agbaje however prayed for a happy and accident-free celebration.
