Ibadan Community of Cotonou, Benin Republic will on Sunday, April 19, 2026, confer an Award of Honour on the General Manager of Pensioners FM, Ibadan, Oyo State, Otunba Babatunde Tiamiyu.
In a letter by the organisers of the annual Ibadan Day celebration in Cotonou, Union des Natifs d’Ibadan au Benin, the recognition is in appreciation of Otunba Tiamiyu’s contributions to the welfare of people, his impact on the social and developmental advancement of the Ibadan community.
The ceremony, which is expected to have Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Rashidi Ladoja in attendance, is part of activities marking the Ibadan Day celebration in Cotonou.
The event is expected to attract members of the Ibadan community in the diaspora, as well as dignitaries from Nigeria and Benin Republic.
