The Police Service Commission (PSC) has launched the online application portal for the recruitment of 50,000 constables into the Nigeria Police Force, a move aimed at boosting manpower, strengthening community policing, and improving national security.
The portal went live on December 15, 2025, and will remain open until January 25, 2026.
Interested Nigerians can submit their applications via npfapplication.psc.gov.ng.
According to the PSC, applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth, physically and medically fit, and meet educational requirements.
For the General Duty cadre, candidates must have five credits in WAEC, SSCE, NECO, or equivalent, including English Language and Mathematics.
The Specialists cadre requires relevant experience, trade test certificates, and at least four credits.
The commission emphasised that the recruitment process is free of charge and warned against fraudulent intermediaries.
